Conformation Search

Conformation Search
The form or structure and arrangement of the parts in conformance with the breed standard.
The American Kennel Club sets standards on what dogs should look like, depending on their breed. Conformation means how close they come to the set standards. For instance, yellow, chocolate and black are the standards for coat color in Labrador Retrievers. If the dog has a coat that is reddish, she is not conformed to the standard, and probably is not purebred.
